FAQ
Lug width is expressed in millimeters (mm). The first number is the width of you watch lug, and the second number is the width of the strap at buckle area.
You might be confused, what is straight and tapered.
Straight is when the lug width and buckle width is the same (example : 24/24)
Tapered is when the straps get tapered from lug width to buckle width (example : 24/22)
If you’re not sure about the sizing, please let us know. Sometimes, the lug width of your watch is not that simple to measure, so we will need to know the type of your watch and the brands also. We will help you find the sizing and make the straps fit your watch perfectly.
Length is expressed in millimeters (mm). You might get confused what is 125/75? The first number (125) is the length of your strap in 12H area, while the second number (75) is the length of your strap in 6H area.
There is no right or wrong when deciding the length of your strap, as it is back to your preference. The proper length for your custom strap is based entirely on your wrist circumference.
The easiest way to measure your wrist is by wrapping a piece of string snugly around your wrist area (where you wear the watch), mark the string where it crosses itself, lay it flat on a table and measure the distance between the marks. That is your wrist size (please measure it in mm for more exact outcome).
Go find this table, and see where your sizing falls into :
4.5 - 5.0” wrist (115 - 127mm) = 100/60mm
5.0 - 5.5” wrist (127 - 140mm) = 110/60mm
5.5 - 6.0” wrist (140 - 150mm) = 115/65mm
6.0 - 6.5” wrist (150 - 164mm) = 120/70mm
6.6 - 7.0” wrist (165 - 178mm) = 125/75mm
7.1 - 7.5” wrist (179 - 190mm) = 130/80mm
7.6 - 8.0” wrist (191 - 203mm) = 135/80mm
8.1 - 8.5” wrist (204 - 216mm) = 140/85mm

You can find this information at each page of the product, but mostly our straps are 4mm thick. The thickness will depend on the model too, and we usually adjust the thickness based on the watch you will mount it to. If you want to make the straps to fit smaller watch (20mm lug, 22mm lug), it will look nicer if the strap is thinner, so it won’t overwhelm the watch.
If what you mean by odd is something like this : 25/22 128/79, Yes we can. But we can’t guarantee the exact 100% sizing as you wish, because each leather have different characteristic and usually the length will change over time as you wear it.
For the first time, yes, I will make it as you wish, but let me tell you, it won’t be forever stay that size. It will change around 2-3mm over time. That’s why strap maker rounded the length size options.
